The Abra app will begin selling cryptocurrency at 6,000 retail outlets in the Philippines, including 7-Eleven stores. The minimum amount to buy crypto will be 500 pesos ($ 10), and for a one single day customers can purchase digital money in the amount of 100,000 pesos ($ 1900). The commission for buyers will be 2%.
“Abra users in the Philippines will be able to convert pesos into cryptocurrencies or invest in popular stocks like Google, Amazon and Facebook. This opens up a whole world of new opportunities for them to increase their capital” said Abra CEO Bill Bahrydt.
At the moment, the application supports 30 cryptocurrencies and over 50 fiat currencies. The sale of digital money at retail outlets in the Philippines was made possible through the conclusion of an agreement with the local payment company ECPAY.
