Billionaire Henry Kravis, who turned 75 this year, has invested a large amount in cryptocurrency. According to the businessman and owner of the company Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co, he began to study digital assets and the blockchain’s capabilities a long time ago, which is why it was a matter of time to invest in the industry.
The state of Kravis at the beginning of this year was estimated at about 5.8 billion dollars. In May, he invested more than $ 25 million in ParaFi Capital, a company developing software on the blockchain. Later, the businessman decided to invest directly in tokens, allocating approximately the same amount.
“At one time, my companies could not afford to invest such funds in third-party projects, as the market gradually went into crisis. Now the situation has changed, because of which the presence of cryptocurrency assets has become a necessity rather than an experiment. Such giants as Bain Capital Ventures and Dragonfly Capital Partners work with our funds, which is why we are confident in the future and prospects for investments in digital coins” – said Kravis.
In media there also appeared information that the billionaire has started cooperation with an investment company Blockchains. Representatives of both sides have not yet commented on such cooperation.
