BitTorrent developers announced the launch of a beta version of the BLive streaming service a few weeks before the previously announced deadline. Everyone can use the resource, but only after registering on the portal and receiving a login to participate in checking the functionality of web applications.
Launching BLive Service – “We are pleased to announce that BLive will be launched in beta mode today. Some of the service’s functions will be temporarily cut down, as they are being adjusted and revised, but the basic options are now available on the portal. For convenience, we decided to attract everyone who is subscribed to the BitTorrent Twitter account to check the resource. Also, program participants will have the opportunity to win bonuses, but we will inform you about the promotion later” – said representatives of BitTorrent.
Official testing of the new BitTorrent service began in August. It was originally planned that the beta version of the resource will work in the fourth quarter of this year, but the developers coped with the tasks much faster. The launch of a full-fledged BLive variation is scheduled for early next year.
The streamers of the platform will work on the most loyal terms, receiving up to 30 percent of advertising revenue. The volume of integration will be determined by the users themselves. YouTube recently started using this approach, which increased revenue but reduced the amount of advertising content that was posted only with the permission of the creators.
Withdrawals from BLive can be made using any credit card or PayPal, Google Wallet and Apple Pay. The service will support the internal blockchain token and bitcoin, which will make calculations more convenient for cryptocurrency holders.
