Burger King restaurants starts accepting cryptocurrencies in Venezuela

Burger King restaurants in Venezuela have begun accepting cryptocurrency for goods and services. Support for this type of digital assets was implemented using the Cryptobuyer processing service.

Cryptocurrency in Burger King – The network began to accept not only Bitcoins, but also Ethereum, Litecoin, Binance Coin, Dash and Tether. So far, the option is available only in a fast food restaurant in Caracas, but within a few weeks it should appear in 40 establishments in the country. Twitter users note that other countries should follow the example of Venezuela, since cryptocurrency settlements are very convenient and simple.

Venezuela is currently showing signs of an economic crisis. The local fiat currency continues to devalue. President Nicolas Maduro is actively promoting the El Petro digital coin, but it is not popular among citizens due to the fact that it is almost impossible to use it in everyday life.


The most popular altcoin in Venezuela is Dash. Project representatives have repeatedly noted that approximately 15 percent of the asset’s investors are in that particular country.
