The beneficiaries of crypto exchanges in Belarus will have to disclose their data, and the exchanges themselves – to identify customers, such amendments are being prepared as part of the decree “On the development of the digital economy,” a source in business circles familiar with the preparation of documents told RIA Novosti.
On December 21, President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko signed a decree on the development of the digital economy, which is designed to create favorable conditions for the development of information technologies in the republic, including blockchain and cryptocurrency technologies, and the entry of world IT companies into the republic. The document came into force at the end of March.
The main experimental area for the implementation of projects within the framework of the decree is the “High-Tech Park” (HTP). It is assumed that the residents of the park will be able to implement projects in the field of biotechnology, medical, aviation and space technologies, as well as e-sports. Source: 1prime.ru
