In Opera, people can buy bitcoins through Apple Pay

Opera browser now allows users in the US to easily buy cryptocurrencies such as bitcoin by paying with Apple Pay. If you are using an Android Opera browser version, you can simply use a debit card. To understand how easy and convenient this new solution is, Opera promises that using Apple Pay will allow people to fund their cryptocurrency account in less than 30 seconds.

After introducing a cryptocurrency wallet in all mobile and desktop variations of the Opera browser, the company made a very convenient currency purchase. This is an extension for Opera to purchase cryptocurrencies in the US and Scandinavia. In an announcement this week, Opera says light recharge is available in the Opera browser for Android, as well as the Opera Touch browser for iOS and the crypto wallet available in the desktop version of the company’s browser.

This announcement is the next step in Opera’s strategy aimed at eliminating the obstacles associated with the use of cryptocurrencies on the Internet, ”the company said. And this follows the introduction in December 2018 in the Norwegian company of the first browser with built-in AdBlock. “Then Opera added a built-in crypto wallet to its desktop browser, as well as to its iOS browser, Opera Touch. Firm later introduced crypto purchases in Sweden, Norway and Denmark, and is currently expanding them in the United States. ”

To launch this in the US, Opera has teamed up with cryptocurrency brokerage firm Wyre to provide simple and secure purchases directly from the browser. On Android, users in the US can use debit cards to buy Bitcoins and Ethereum, while iOS users can use Apple Pay.

“Earlier, obtaining cryptocurrency was a laborious process that took hours or even days. When you compare it to this seamless solution that takes less than 30 seconds, it’s really cool. ”
