Cryptocurrency Litecoin will appear in more than 13 thousand ATMs in South Korea. Litecoin Foundation previously entered into a partnership agreement with MeconCash to add an asset to the operating systems of devices in the UK. Coins will be sold according to the course in real time.

Litecoin and MeconCash deal – The coin will also be integrated into the M.Pay cryptocurrency exchange application. Users of the utility will have the opportunity to carry out operations not only with residents of South Korea, but also with citizens of other countries who have accounts in the system. Commission in transactions with LTC will be 0.1 percent of the transaction amount. It is worth noting that for transactions with fiat in the payment system clients have to pay fee from 1 percent.

Litecoin creator Charlie Lee noted that the coin is already popular in South Korea, but its appearance in ATMs will make the asset accessible to everyone. MeconCash devices are located in all major cities of the country. Despite the fact that operations with cryptocurrencies on the territory are not yet regulated at the legislative level, ATMs with digital assets are not prohibited. All transactions are converted to fiat, which is why in fact the user transfers real money.


Litecoin continues to actively develop its own infrastructure. Recently, in a coin network, the amount of transactions reached $ 500 billion. According to Charlie Lee, serious updates await the asset in the future, which will take it to a new level. The developer has not yet announced the details of development plans for Litecoin.
