The KUNA Ukrainian platform, which provides for individuals the opportunity to buy and sell cryptocurrencies online, presented the KUNA Pay mobile application at the Kiev BlockchainUA conference.
The new service will allow Ukrainian merchants to accept payment for goods in cryptocurrency.
“There are a huge number of payment systems. As a rule, they are all untwisted, they have chic APIs, integrations into various CRM systems and other engines, but they have one problem – they are all tailored for the dollar and the euro, that is, for Western users” – said Mikhail Chobanyan from Kuna.
According to the founder of KUNA, the company’s new product will allow the processing of fiat and cryptocurrencies. KUNA Pay is focused on e-commerce representatives who can use the application to sell their products for fiat money (due to integration with Visa and Mastercard payment systems) and cryptocurrencies, including for the crypto-hryvnia that the company is developing.
According to KUNA representatives, the KUNA Pay application will be available to iOS and Android users tentatively until the end of 2019. In the coming months cryptohrivna will also be presented.
Ukrainians can now replenish KUNA balance in EasyPay payment terminals. This was made possible thanks to the cooperation of the crypto platform with XPAY, which created a digital wallet. This wallet contains money, documents, credit, bonus and discount cards. Thus, all the necessary documents are in the mobile phone.
