Starbucks will allow customers to pay in cryptocurrency

The chain of coffee houses Starbucks will soon begin to accept payments in cryptocurrency. Representatives of the company expect to launch a special platform Bakkt for settlements in November 2018. The developers of the platform are Microsoft and Intercontinental Exchange. According to information provided by TASS, the platform will act as an intermediary. In particular, it will store cryptocurrencies, which you can use to exchange for goods and services of Starbucks.

The platform will automatically exchange crypto assets into US dollars at the current rate and the amount that has already been received as a result of the recalculations can be used by the consumer for purchases in the coffee house.
