Switzerland was the most friendly country for cryptocurrencies and blockchain projects, the rating was presented on the conference website BlockShow Europe 2018.
“Switzerland is the central hub for cryptocurrencies projects from around the world thanks to positive regulatory dynamics,” the study said. “The Canton of Zug has become home to several projects and foundations, including the Dfinity, Ethereum Foundation, Bancor, Tezos, ShapeShift.”
The authors of the rating studied the regulation of cryptocurrencies in 48 European countries, the top-10 was published on the conference website, Russia does not. The tenth line is occupied by Belarus.
The Belarus country was placed on the top of the list, because there is a zero tax on cryptocurrencies in the country up to 2023 year – explained in the study.
On the second place is Gibraltar, on the third – Malta. The fifth place fas Denmark.
Belarus at the end of 2017 legalized all the cryptocurrencies and transactions with them. The decree signed by the Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko does not imply any restrictions on operations for the creation, placement, storage, alienation, exchange of tokens, as well as the activities of crypto-exchanges and crypto platforms.
In Russia, bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies are not regulated, in January the Ministry of Finance presented a draft law, in which he refused to consider digital money as a means of payment. The document has not yet been adopted. Source: lenta.ru
