“Ammbr is a wireless mesh network based on blockchain technology. It allows people to distribute a free offline access channel around the clock. Ammbr networked modules that act as advanced network routers. The modules interact with each other, supporting the communication channel, and provide access to the network, including in places with a missing or weak signal.
Ammbr modules create a blockchain network that ensures smooth operation of transactions and smart contacts” – the press service of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry reported with reference to the materials of the Committee on Electronic Communications at the CCI.
Technology Cost: the cost of covering the territory of Ukraine with high-quality Internet using existing technologies is estimated at $ 80 million; the cost of building an Ammbr network can range from 2 to 5 million dollars.
2020 action plan: regulatory activities; education for SMEs; creation of cybercademia and cyber polygon based on the Ukrainian CCI.
In addition, active work is being carried out by working groups under the committee on areas of smart city, telemedicine, the Internet of things and cryptocurrency.
