The World Economic Forum on February 20 announced the results of a study of the 74 largest economies in the world, where citizens use cryptocurrencies the most.
According to the study, Nigeria ranked first with 33%, Vietnam – second 21%, Philippines – third 20%. Turkey ranked 4th in the world and first in Europe with an indicator of 16%. The Turkish news agency Haber7 reported.
Cryptocurrencies have become widely used in the world, especially in Africa and Asia. Their popularity is growing every day.
However, in the countries of Central Europe and the UK, cryptocurrencies are not in great demand. Only Switzerland and Greece have a significant number of holders of such a currency – 11%.
